What happened to the Bajorans?

So I was reading the FO Readme that comes with Flops, and I noticed that there were various ships and stuff added with the Beta 1/2 releases including the Noxter, though that is not what this thread is about). I was just wondering: are those ships, like the Bajoran ship for example, still in the Flops' files, but are no longer represented in the game, or did they get removed completely like the Noxter until the NPC races are ready to be reimplemented?

Sorry if this is the wrong section to post this in, and it's a really trivial matter, but I'm curious all the same.

some older non-playable vessels/stations got removed from newer versions because their models were outdated.
we'd like to bring this 'lost' non-player content back with a future version

Okay, that's all I needed to know. I was just curious, though, because I saw in the readme log that there were quite a few NPC races' ships added in the earlier versions of Flops. On another note, even though the stations/vessels themselves are outdated, how much would have to be changed in order to reintoduce them from Beta1/2 into the current version of Flops without any crashes? Again, it isn't important as much as a lot of the other threads in this section, but it's something that I myself am interested in.

the models should still work, the odfs would have to be redone from scratch
