What Happened To The Crew?

Hey guys what happened to the CREW? this resource was very important in V2 nad now it's gone.

yep, crew is gone as a resource, its still present in the tooltips cause its good to know how much crew a ship can carry

Yes one must know how many must die for the greater good I personally like the lack of crew, it is that one resource that you could almost never deal with early game so the focus becomes something more realistic, supplies.

Hmm, when you say crew, do you mean that you no longer have to take a planet to get the influx of officers? Can you still take planets? Is there any reasoning behind taking them anymore, other than possible strategic points?

Do you still have to recrew a ship after a battle? I really appreciated that aspect. Replacing all those poor red-shirts. hehehe

er in FO you dont interact with the planets at all, (thats only stock A2).

yes there are still crew on ships and stations, and yes they can die. Meaning you will have to recrew them at a shipyard .

Ah.. ok.. Thanks for the info, going to give it a shot tonight... Started playing it lastnight, but it's just amazing how confusing things can be at 2am LoL!
