You Tube Publicity

So i have been watching quite a few gameplay videos on youtube. It started because i wanted to learn some better ways to play SC2 and then it moved on to minecraft and now its whatever lol.

Anyway a lot of the commentators will play a few idie games and mods. So i was wondering if we could get someone to play FO and attract some new players around here. The only problem i can see right now is the fact that they would need an A2 cd and those arent exactly easy to come by. Anyone have any thoughts about this?

Oh, you mean get one of the more well-known commentators to look at Fleet Ops?

Could be a good idea, although most of them use replay files which allow them to scroll around despite not being there when the game was played.  Also the concepts of Fleet Ops are pretty complicated and it would take a lot of work to learn them just for one commentary.

Now, we could get a pretty good effect if we just got a couple of them to give Fleet Ops a shout-out and direct people to some of the better commentaries done by me, Yandonman, or one of the other commentators we already have.  The best time to do this would be after the next major patch comes out.

Maybe we could get their attention by sending them a video commented by our commentators. Also i watched this video by total biscuic he is showing off a HON character that he did the voice overs for. He says that he enjoys doing voice over acting maybe we could get him to do the voiceovers for a FO ship.
