The guide's database will be updated in near future with new features. Avatar specific unit values, more advanced passive view and stations will be a couple of the new features of the new database.

The layout for the data will also be changed to get all the new data in and any ideas and suggestions how the database users would like it changed and new data showed would be appreciated. The new database view would contain both avatar info and levelup info. The ideas can be a change to the current layout, completely new layout or something else.

I attached a couple of sketches with this post.

Any opinions and thoughts on the subject are welcome.

Sketch0 looks good.

I concur, the horizontal grid layout in sketch1 can be a little hard to read sometimes, especially when you don't have headers on every ship entry; you forget which value is which.

I would add to sketch0, rank up changes to the right of the base stats aligned with the proper row; I might list these values like so "23 (+3)". Ultimately it might look like this
StatBase Value(Rank Image) Rank 5(Rank Image) Veteran
Offensive2023 (+3)26 (+3)
etc.

You should also include icons for passives and specials and indicate passive gained at certain ranks.

The headers on the sketch1 could be changed to horizontal if they were abbreviated as currently, and they could indeed be put on every single unit if so desired :)

he first sketch is a more attractive layout but i like seeing how it ranks up as well.

sketch 1 looks better to me.

maybe repeat the column titles for every entry in an abbreviated or icon form.

downloading large pages isnt really trouble for modern broadband so no need to restrict yourself.

Sketch0 is better for seperating the build info from the stats, as well as giving the avatar bonuses, and for only seperating avatar-specific values if there is a difference. Sketch1 is better for the amount information.

I you should take the setup of sketch0, but replaced the stats table on the right with the table from sketch1 modified so that only things that change with the avatar show both values like in sketch0.

The plan is that all the information would be in the database, so the final layout will have avatars and rank 5 and veteran.

Passive icons will also be in the update.

Yeah, some are already scattered throughout the guide in fact

Keep those ideas coming guys - this is for everybody's benefit, so no pressure, but it'd be nice to come up with something that is efficient, easy to read, and conveys the information across in a way that can be understood at first sight  :sweatdrop:

I have seen some of them but the passives were the hardest to extract.

I like both, I am just after more information, i.e. all the other ranks :P

I think it would be really useful to see how individual ships rank up, because I'm sure a lot of them are quite different.

I only have one wish for the data base. Plz Make pictures smaller in size. Currently the DB lags if I load the page...I guess its because of the images?

I believe that most ships level up linearly - so an offense of 8 upon double gold officer would be an increase of 2 offense per level  :sweatdrop:

The current database lags due to the coding if I remember correctly.
