List of Passives

I was wondering if it would be possible just to have a list of all the passives, on one page, and then maybe at the end of each passive, just a short list of which ships have them

does adding the passive add a new ability stated or do u actually have to change values in the odfs to show that the passives are added into the particular ship?

not sure if it made sense what I am asking, but like does adding the weaponxx = "passive_xxxxxx" audomatically add an ability to the ship or do u still need to make adjustments?

ex.  passive_ablativearmor would I still need to increase the armor level of the ship per say or is it added automatically.

The other passives are in the database - it's silly to add several dozen passives to a list like that without it becoming redundant I'm afraid. For instance, passives linked to weaponry, or even to after-cloak stuff (like the Type XV Phaser and the Kaleh Maneuvor).

yes, have a look at the edjen.

it has a passive that makes it do more damage to ships of the same range as itself.

the noqduj has a passive which means it thumps other fighters/scouts.

gen spec has oversized shields. reducing torp damage

gen frig has suppressive shields blah blah blah.

many ships have these unique passives.

Well id just think itd be nice to have all the passives in one condensed format on one page, that way its easier to put them to memory and figure out which passives are good vs others, then you can apply them to the ships that have them

well there's so many of these passives. it would be annoying to remember them all by rote.

It's hard to find ships without passives - it'd be more logical to make a list of ships with nothing .

Dom, thats my point, alot have passives, and some of them have the same, which is why i think itd be nice to have a list where you could all get familiar with the passives, and then when you see a ship, you know the passive it has,

As opposed to combing through the guide to find the ships with the same passives

Only those 7 important passives are shared (there is technically an 8th, but it is not what I'd call an important passive) - the rest are not and are unique to the vessel that has them. Passives are described in the Unit Analyses and Database.

Of course, did forget to mention that the new Database will allow you to sort via Passives, and show/hide them too
