When I logged onto the guide today and saw that big link on the main page, I thought, what a great idea! The thing is, when I click the link, the first paragraph says "Now that you have read and hopefully digested the basics of one on one game play for Fleet Operations, it is an opportune time to address cooperative multiplayer." Why does this page assume I've already gone through the trouble of finding and reading the 1v1 game play guide? I mean clearly "New fleet ops player"s are going to read this page first. I think it seems a bit sloppy that this page is meant to be the first page that newbies read, yet it assumes that they've already read the 1 v 1 guide. Can we at least get a link to this 1 on 1 guide somewhere?

Other than that, this new page is excellent, great job explaining all the basics. Good refresher for people like me who don't play too often, as well.

Hm - well, essentially the idea of that link was for those who didn't want to read the rest of the guide, but wanted to go directly into online gameplay. Basically that page just condenses most of the advice/complaints one will see online into a format that can be easily digested.

I'll adjust the introduction of that page a bit to make that clearer (I hope) :) . Thanks for bringing it up

Haha no problem. As I said, the rest of the page is excellent, I was just being picky.  :P

Always good to be picky  . If nobody said their opinion, the guide would be in a sorry state indeed :D . Feel free to let me know if the 'new' intro fits the subject better (or worse) :)

I kinda miss the PDF guide.  I used it back when I played only single player once or twice a year.

There are ways to export the guide into a 'non-internet' version, but it's clunkier than the online version - eventually a PDF version might be reinstated, but the guide keeps getting more complex, so I wouldn't count too heavily on it

Might be neat to have a tricorder version of the guide that was portable and incorporated some of Boggz gameplay guides as well as starting build orders/counters.  May help some of the newer players get to the good stuff fast without compromising the benefits of a full guide.

Probably a lot of work for moderate benefit though..

Eventually a 'Community Portal' section will be added, which, amongst other things will have a wiki section where people can add their own strategy/tactics/build orders without my involvement  ^-^ . For the moment though I can't combine Boggz' gameplay guides and what is already in the guide as it doesn't fit with my goals I'm afraid
