Disclaimer (): Now I am fully aware that this would be best suited for the Modding section of the Fleet Ops forum, however since I can't sticky / unsticky stuff there, and I don't know if this page will need to be edited (and because it is now also provided in the guide in this page Ship Template - The Hitchhiker's Guide to Fleet Operations ) I thought it best to upload this document here.

That being said, Blade has taken the time to create a template for a Fleet Ops ship with commented code (as indicated by the "//" that is automatically ignored by the Armada II engine) that should help new and old modders alike with determining what each line does. Share and enjoy!

EDIT: visit the guide here to retrieve the template files. This page is outdated :)

This is great!  I a was gonna do something just like it for my guide thingy.  Only one thing I suggest it the section about programmable parameters, you should fill in the blanks. The reason is that it doesn't change barely at all for all the ships, and they might not know what to do, or what to put there.

A stock feature sadly missing in FO. I can see how this will make things easier... if only main FO had these.

Glad they are useful - Blade had also offered to work on a station and weapon set of odfs, but was not sure whether to do so unless people thought they might be useful as well :) .

EDIT - I uploaded a slightly updated template, no code changes, just some headers changed :)

EDIT2 - added Blade's Beam ODF templates :)
