Hello out there!
As some of you may know, DOCa Cola has been working on translating his notes on ODF commands in Fleet Ops for use on the guide . The first installment - the weapon class ODF commands - has thus been released.
Weapon - The Hitchhiker's Guide to Fleet Operations
A few notes however.
You might notice that there are sometimes big bolded areas like ... "UNKNOWN" or several question marks in a row, like so: "?? ?". Since DOCa did not have so much time to work on non-FO specific commands, we had to fill in some of the knowledge on our own. For this reason, we'd appreciate any help at all to clarify these missing commands.
Also, feel free to point out errors, places that need better explanation - etc.
Share and enjoy!

soooo...ive been experimenting with the cannonimp command...and while it does feature the shotdelay that creates rapid firing weapons..and a basetargets and maxextratargets feature...it does not allow one to be able to mix the two together..IE you can have all the commands in the same odf without a crash..but it won't allow me to have rapidfiring+multitargeting at the same time... if one target is selected i want to be able to fire 5 torps in rapid..if two are selected i want it to be able to fire 5 torps in rapid fire at both targets.. Any thoughts on making this a reality?

I don't remember the difference between masetargets and maxtargets off the top of my head, but you only need one of them to work. You also need targetloop = 1 I think.

Yup, and take a look at the Mayson Torpedo turret . That has both things you are looking for Lt. Cmdr Worf
Wait, you wanted 5 torps at both targets, and always 5 at one target right? For that I'd look at the Heavy Weapons Platform for the Klingons . It fires a max number of projectiles at one target, and then more total projectiles when firing at 2+ targets.

Thanks to the HitchHikers Guide..i was able to produce the exact kind of weapons that I always wanted with Armada...and using less weapon files than before...for torpedos and phasers i had to have one weapon file that fired a single weapon..and one weapon file that fired at multi targets..with the cannonimp and all the commands associated with it..my Fed ships now perform exactly as they should..AND they even target multiple vessels similtaneously...no more of me having to tell the computer to attack different targets..thanks to 'targetloop = 1' The 'HardpointShift = 1' command is awesome too because it allowe the ship to fire from different hardpoints...thereby giving the illusion that the ship is firing its phasers from all its different arrays and not just the same one over and over..LOL Thanks for all your help guys!!!

Just glad it could help . If you have any suggestions or things you'd like to see differently, feel free to enumerate them
