Hello everyone. For over a year of playing FO and making lots pf maps, I have posted here my best maps that i have ever created here. I know some of you already has some of these maps, but I just wanted to post them here for all to use.
1v1 Battlezone:
Size: 13000 x 13000
This is one of the maps that I predesigned using Paint using DuelII and Blue Skies maps as references. I wanted to make a very balanced map with nebula shortcuts, plenty of places to hide stations, and most importantly provide tons of space for raiding.
Galaxian A, B, and IIA:
Size of all maps: 12800 x 12800
Galaxian A is a symmetrical map made with the intention to tri-starve all of the players forcing them to fight for tritanium. It can play 2v2, 3v2, and 3v3.
Galaxian B is the same as Galaxian A with a change in the lighting of ships to empahsize the glow of their lights. Makes for interesting results for non-cloaking races.
Galaxian IIA is a asymmetrical map with a spiral "galaxy" look with a standard main and expansion for all six players. Plays 2v2, 2v2v2, 2v3, and 3v3.
Plasma Outpost (small and large versions)
Plasma Outpost is the second generation to a concept I attemped to do in an earlier map that I made. Beware of the mutara nebula paths as they can allow fleets to get around any team that tries to turtle through the entire center of the map!
The size of the small version is 14000x14000, and it currently supports only 2v2 games.
The size of the large version is 16000x16000, and it supports 2v3, and 3v3 games.
Proximity v1.0.2
Size: 20000 x 20000
This map has an unusual layout for a 3v3 map. Four of the bases are close together and are separated only by a asteroid barrier with the last two bases near the outer edge of the map. This map contains nebula so powerful that even borg spheres will get damaged in it. Players start close to each other and expand away from the center and eventually toward each other. You can choose to set up an early proxy yard in the central divide or take the moons in the outer parts of the map for tech.
Currently supports 2v3 and 3v3 play.
The Universe and The Universe Stealth
Size of both maps: 20000 x 20000
These maps are created in the very same day that I started Multiplayer one year later! These maps support 2v2v2v2, 3v3, 3v4, and 4v4 games and feature some creative uses for asteroids (ice asteroids in particular) to make some features unique to this map. This map has completely symmetrical moons, but the terrain is not symmetrical on the outer edges of the map. The bases start reletively close to each other to allow early game tactics to be successfully used, but not too close to allow the large game tactics to be used successfully. There are plenty of ways to get around the map and this map is designed for huge fleet battles in mind.
Hope to get reviews for my maps!
