i'd make everyone have at least 1 complete (1 dil 1 tri) exp, i know its rather mundane and boring for maps to have the standard moons, but it helps with balance. some races cant easily secure 2 geographically separate moons, while others can easily secure moons.

Looks good new 1 v 1 maps is it what we really need. I mean after the 500th match on duel it can get a bit boring.

I will test it. Maybe you should get rid of the wormholes. They are usually are not just causing out of sync errors I also think they shouldn't be in 1 v 1 maps.

EDIT: For some reason the BMP file doesn't display the map when you click the "show map button" for players.

Ok the map itself looks very well made. What I dislike is the fact that both player bases spawn so close to each other. If I would be you I would make it like this:

It's only an idea so don't worry if you dislike that then don't use it.

In the corners where the former moons were you could add some dust clouds or planets for example.
The good thing about this setting would be that players are not sitting so close to each other. And can expand in all directions while the distances to reach them for both players still remain the same. And later on there could be some great fights over the middle expansions or outer edge expansions. The middle itself could stay like it is or you could even add another single moon dil or Tri to it.

Maybe release a 2nd version of that map give it a name like Diamond-L (for large player distances) and you have 2 maps made out of 1 layout. Like I said just an idea. Your map is at all costs good and the closest thing so far I've seen for another Duel variant.

Very nice concept. I like it.

The Diamond-L version 23down suggested also looks really cool. You should definitely do that one too!

I've been testing the map out for bit. It's great fun! But you should consider making the green nebulas way smaller. Right now there is room for a whole fleet which is easily exploitable. Especially the ones around the middle.
Apart from that it's really fun to play. Great work! :thumbsup:

I haven't had a chance to test it yet, but the basic layout looks solid.

Consider mixing asteroids or damage nebulas with your green nebulas, like machinor said you shouldn't be able to park a fleet in the greens.  Just 1 or 2 ships max or it becomes too easy to exploit.
