However it does look very interesting. For example going support ships is going to be tight on tritanium

I know that this isn't official forum rules or anything but its kind of a courtesy to put all three files in one zip/rar its just better that way anyways.

Well I didnt think it was a big deal since the files were so small, but ok.

Nice to see some new maps here . Looks like they are balanced(which is the most important aspect to make people try out a map imo), I hope I can try them out soon :).

Hmm, looking at it I'd suggest to drop some of the expansion tri moons to force the players to go to the middle ;). Since Tri is usually not the ressource people desparately need it's unlikey that they'll go to the middle if they can get it at the expansions, too. Two tri moons are usually enough for any race to do research and ship production.

as much as forcing 2 teams into 1 spot sounds like itll create fun conflict, itll just make it unbalanced as races that can turret/yard the middle easily will make that their only strat.

also the two corridors between sides might be a bit too small and vulnerable to turtling, i recommend removing the triangle of asteroids at the top and bottom middle of the map in order to open it up. make sure there is a path around the two expansions in those areas, so that each team cant yard 1 each and turtle.

Initially I had thought that, but I changed my mind when i went into production of the map. Having given it more thought, some races and strategies require more tri, and limiting that factor wouldnt be good for gameplay since the distance to the expansion is time the enemy will have for more production.

Myles you may have a point about the side passages, However I would like proof that it is an issue before I change it. Though Ive only tested V1 once Ill be interested to see how V2 goes.

Ill consider making a change to the "triangle" asteroid fields in center top and bottom. Perhaps a passageway towards the back to allow avoidance of any turtled defenses.

Thanks for your thoughts. Now I will play a bit.

Bravo, this is a great map, i love the riskyness of the expansiions being close together

Thanks! I'm in the process of tweaking the expansion distances to be more balanced. Since the top has a little bit further to travel. As a result I'm changing how the asteroids are laid out on either side. Rest assured I'm still retaining the risky close expansions.
