I'm trying to create cineractive sequences in my mission map and find getting my camera angles right is rather difficult.  I'd like to be able to pan around in the map editor get the camera exactly where I want it for a shot and then record the location so I can use it in cineractive scripting.  Is there a way to do this?

TIA,

I'm not sure that there is a fast and easy way to do this.

The long, annoying way:

You can determine the plane-position of your camera by zooming in and placing an object in the middle of the screen, and looking at it with the inspector (to see its coordinates).

To see your zoomed location is a bit more annoying: since Armada saves the last zoom height, you can quit the game after setting up your best zoom height, and then checking your settings file (specifically: cameraHeight) in %appdata%star trek armada ii fleet operations  :x

I think that the best solution is just to use the first part, and then play around with the zoom after setting up the cineractive.  :sweatdrop:
