MAp mission COde for Multiplayer maps

Just a simple random question. is it possible to attach a mission script to multiplayer maps? so that the ai behavoir can be controled?

that would be great if you could. at some point i want to place some pirate ships on some maps as hazard zones.

is scripting hard to do? iv not done any before

What you want done is not all that hard with some creative replaceweapon code. i'm going for somthing far more complex. i've not actualy learned how to script LUA yet. i'm just pokeing around wondering if it would be beneficial to do so.

A while ago I made a map called "Borg Space" that was supposed to add Borg vessels to the map via LUA scripting. The game went out-of-sync the moment the first vessel was added. A LUA script to control multi-player maps has been on my mind for quite some time. I believe it's possible, but with severe limitations. Some of which has to do with MMM, some of which has to do with the actual FleetOps engine.

No, currently LUA scripts will not work with multiplayer games.

Actually, through the use of MMM, LUA scripting is possible.

Currently not that I know of.
