For example, instead of just normal, lots and unlimited is there a way to create another option?

And yes I looked through the hitchhikers guide to modding and found nothing related to this, only referenced the display.

You can only change the amounts for each option, but not the number of options.

I wish there was more options here iv always said i try a 2v1 with 2 good player like me if i could add more resources to me and keep them as they are but this can not be doing in 3.2.7 :(

6000 5000 to me why they start at 4000 3000.

Game would still be hard but give you a chance of winning a 2 vs 1 vs 2 good players

Where can you change the starting amount for each one? I was not able to find it.

I'm not at my computer right now, but I'll let you know where to change the starting resources when I get home.

One of the things on my list (my long, long list that might take forever) is to create a resource pod that can be decommissioned instantly for, say, 1000/1000. That would let you design custom maps where one player gets extra starting resources.

Awesome thank you so much! I look forward to hearing how to change it.

I've also been thinking about giving your mod a try. ;)

You should give it a try lot work gone in to it and thanks to all that hard work we now have a mini update from 3.2.7.

Best of all there a good reason to tech up now and not just spam from the first yard you can build :D

Starting resources are defined in the 5 race odf files, found under odf/system or the fpqedit program.

Since they are defined by race, you can do something like give Borg a ton more starting resources than the other races, but I don't know if the engine will let you add new menu options for different starting setups. Definitely something to look into.
