STA2 Classic mod recycle issue

Hey guys,
So I've run into a weird issue with Classic mod, I'm running the first borg SP mission, and either I have completely forgotten how to recycle ships, or there is a problem with the functionality because I get no resources when I decomission a ship. I recycle captured cargo ships and my own assimilators alike, no joy.
I've tried searching the forums and I cannot find anyone else with this issue, so maybe it's just me. lol
I tried on both 1.2b and 1.2d versions of the mod, same result.
Does anyone have a suggestion?

Fleet Ops changes a lot of things and that causes problems for the Classic Mod. IIRC you get 100% of the value back when you recycle so that's part of the mission script, but since FO changed the resources that script doesn't work well anymore. It's also possible the ships in question don't have recycle values set in their odf files (IIRC that was handled through the race odf, not the ship odfs in stock A2). Recycling does work in principle in FO, I know because it works in my Roots Mod for FO but I do remember manually setting the recycle values for all the ships and stations in that mod.
