The Federation Centaur Class Starship as a Warp-In. It is based of the Excelsior Class with slightly heavier Shields and slower speed. The Textures should not have a registry on them.

NOTE: I made this on a game that includes the altered sprites from the Miranda Class (In the thread called 'Help with Importing ships'), I am not sure if it works without those altered sprite files.

ok guys i'm having big problems..........i downloaded tylers centaur class and added it and added it to antarres yard to build(both files for the yard) when i start a game i can't build a centaur. then when i build my beloved miranda when its building a pic of a galor comes up but a miranda does come out. then i thought ok a warp in a centaur and when i click to warp in anything my game crashes....HELP  :crybaby:

ok fixed.......one question tyler......can i make the ship buildable.....i put it in a sjip yard but it doesn't appear and its not just an invisible on???

Since it is a Warp-In, I never made a build button. It should work if you make one. Plus, Warp-Ins don't need to be in the techtree, buildable's do.

I can make a build button if you want gerry, but all you need to do is copy fed_centuar.odf, and name the copy fed_centuarA.odf.  Add that to the tech tree, then to your station.  I'll make some build buttons for my warpin ships, and tyler's if he doesn't mind.

Do you Tyler?  I see no reason why we can't work somewhat togeather.

Sure, no problem with me.

Speaking of buttons, I think I'll also make one for all Warp-In ships I do from now on.

ok, I sugest we each make a separate button file for that instead of over writing the NPC ones though.

but I will make the Centuar one for you. :thumbsup:

For now, I'll just add it to the npc buttons, but later on, I will make my own file.

ok, just find in Gui_Global.spr the line
b_nbre_energypost npcbuttonsfederation01 258 3 80 80 # 4 1

and replace it with this

b_fed_centaur npcbuttonsfederation01 258 3 80 80 # 4 1

then add the attached file to the textures file.

Note: this only works if you added fed_centaur.odf to the techtree and your yard

ok added everything you said and when the ship was built it wasn't a ship  but a big white ERROR! now i added both fed_centaur.odf and fed_centaurA.odf to both tech trees....did i do wrong.....also n the anteres yard i put fed_centaurA

ok, Did you build the one with A, or no A?  Ignore what I sad about the A thing, just try to build the ship, fed_centuar.odf.
