Dominion War Mod 2.0

The second version of my mod is finally here....

First, I need to give many thanks to Bam920. Bam920 was the original person that came up with many of the new concepts for the second version of the mod and without him there would not of been a second release of this mod. Also, many thanks to Squire James, without his help I would of never completed the mod and his work (avatars and title screen) really gave it that Dominion War sheen it. Lastly, thanks to the beta testers for their useful feedback and saving me the time of having to play the game to spot any errors.

Now onto the new features of the game:
- New avatars
- New Gui for the Cardassians and Breen
- Hotkeys now function for all races
- Ship costs have been changed
- New title screen with new music from Ds9
- Each avatar has at least one hero ship that can be summoned via the deep space sensor station

There will be two different versions of this game: the main version of the game and the other for those that like to play as the Borg in multiplayer. Because this mod has nine different factions, the ninth faction listed for multiplayer is unusable. So the second version is only for the Borg to be playable in multiplayer and nothing else is different.

Great mod, but I'm having an issue with playing the Borg in Instant Action. They seem to crash the game if you play as them. However, they seem to work fine as an AI opponent. Do I have to use the multiplayer Borg version in order to play as them?

That's weird... because you are the only one that has reported a crash with the borg. The Borg multiplayer is only if you want to play in multiplayer(with other people). Try downloading the game again. When does the crash occur exactly??

Yeah I don't believe its something with the mod. I just played the game as the Borg did not see any crashes whatsoever. I think it might be a problem with your computer. Maybe for some reason it can't handle the graphics of the Borg.

Actually my computer can handle the graphics of the Borg just fine because I can play as them with this version of the mod (http://www.moddb.com/mods/dominion-war- ... ultiplayer). But the other version (http://www.moddb.com/mods/dominion-war- ... war-mod-20) gives me trouble. I get to the screen where I can choose Locutus or the Borg Queen, but no matter which one I choose the game crashes.

Edit: Okay I just re-downloaded the regular version of the mod, and it seems I can use the Borg now with Locutus or the Queen. I didn't play a full match, so I'll let you know if any other issues pop up when I play a bit longer.

Ok, Let me know. Cause I tested out the original version a week ago and played the borg for two hours. So maybe when you downloaded it, it got corrupted some how.
