Race-specific pause (FO 3.2.5)

Replaces the pause image with the logo of the race you're currently playing. The images are those that used to be seen when the cinematic window was inactive (hence, the TNG-era Romulan logo).

Should be single player only, I think the game checks sprite files.

Note: There are 6 variations on the Romulan pause available, they are in a seperate folder in the 'Textures' folder of the mod. There are too many to add the images to this post, so they will be in a later one.

Wrong Romulan symbol. Definitly a good idea though. Something they should add as stock.

I know it's not the newer one, I explained why I used TNG-Era logo in the first post.

actually the romulan emblem isnt wrong, its just outdated (as tyler said).

since the new emblem appeared after fo story canon split from trek canon, the old symbol might not have been ditched in the fo story.

Well, the version FO uses is the teaser trailer symbol.

Most races have used several version of their logo in canon, it wouldn't be strange if the new logo only represented a certain faction within the Empire or if the Empire had no particular preference.

also the old logo first appeared in tng with slightly different colours. it also appears in the star trek star charts with almost exactly the same colours.

fo splits after tng, before nemesis, so the old symbol might not have been replaced in fo.

I've attempted to make a few variant Romulan pauses using a few of the logos from the site Zaxxon linked to, there are 6 including the TNG one FO originally used.

That TNG one is also the default still.
