STAR TREK ARMADA II - FUTURE WARS

Two days ago I decide to play with that mod for ST Armada 2: Future Wars. I find this mod a long time ago but now was the time to play that.

Took me about one hour to install to my computer, but then, everything was just fine.

The mod works without problem and I made a few screenshots too.


STAR TREK ARMADA II - FUTURE WARS
The Future Wars Mod is a Total Conversion to the known Star Trek Universe for the game Star Trek Armada II. This Mod is differently as the most other Mods. The time frame is not the TNG, DS9 or the other Star Trek episodes, now you will play 100 years after Star Trek – Nemesis.

The playable races are:
-> United Federation of Planets
-> the Klingon Empire
-> the Romulan Empire
-> the Maquis Alliance consists of renegade Starfleet officers, the Bajorans and Ferengi
-> the Dominion Alliance consists of the Dominion, the Cardassians and Breen
-> the Borg Collective ( yes after a long consider we have include them)

Surprised they didn't update the starfield and such. Infact all the graphics still look very Armada 2-ish. Still, maybe that's what they were going for, and gameplay is more important than shiny graphics anyway

Unzip to your FO------>Data------>Mods folder.

The game run just fine, but sometimes, the mod just crash in the middle of a space battles because of wrong weapons setting, I think.

if this takes place after nemesis the maqui were wiped out before the dominion war and the war ended around then so cardassia was free and the dominion retreated to the gamma quadrant not sure what happened to the breen. the remains would make a good addition since their war with the romulan empire started then. also species 8472 i believe started to move into the quadrant and cause problems in that time frame. otherwise looks like it would be fun to play around with.

the mod works on Armada 2 but not fleet ops, i tried both versions and tried transferring some models manually. and everything i build gives me the error SOD

Future Wars uses new emitters, you have to add the contens from Future Wars emitters.spr to your own to get the
modells working.

Does anyone know where the music from this mod is from? I'm certain I heard it in a movie that never released but I can't remember the name of the movie and it's driving me crazy. I believe it was a medieval movie.

Is there any way to get the zip file for this game? I don’t have a cd as I bought the game from gog
