The unofficial Species 9341 as an NPC race addon

Species 9341 as an NPC race in Fleet Ops. This idea is brought to you by The Undying Nephalim. ( I know this probably should be in the modding section, but it's also a request
)
I'll get straight to the point, I love Species 9341. There just seems to be something really cool about mindless single celled amoebas floating around through space. I loved their very brief appearance in Armada 1, and was excited to maybe have them show up again in A2. Sadly, they never did. It's known that Fleet Ops will feature a plethora of NPC races, though in my studies it seems the space germs are not on the list. This little mod made by me is basically my proposal to have these guys show up in FO.
What this mod includes:
- Species 9341 as an NPC race, complete with AI
- Three ships: the Baby Entity, the Mother Entity, and an invisible spawning base.
- 1 map called Infestation, showcasing two players that have to fight through a swarm of these annoying creatures to get to eachother.
- New weapons for Species 9341
- Slightly better textures than A1 with glowing veins by me
I threw this mod together really quick, so I'll update it with custom sound effects and other doodads if players show interest. Of course, I'd prefer to leave the Fleet Ops team to do all of that if they decide to have Species 9341 show up some time. They are better at making simple things epic.
Installation
- Simply put everything in their appropriate folders. EX: The odf files in the odf > system folder.

Wait, can someone convert the Crystallines? I'd really like the Crystallines as an NPC. If possible can you create a version that makes them look like they are made of Diamond (you know, translucent).

Definitally would love to see them.

I'd love for the Crystalline entity to show up on a map... I don't think they work well as an entire race though (they are ridiculously overpowered, though it certainly would be a fun challenge if they did end up as a full NPC race). A good option might be to have an invisible shipyard at the center of the map and it constructs the Crystalline Entity. Setting the build time on 20 minutes would give the players enough time to build a force that could hold off such a creature.
I guess I could make that mod right now if enough people want me to.

cool, How do you make an invisible .sod, though? I knoe=w it can be done, like with the pink blob be gone thing, or the invisible research pods, so I guess it would work. I definitally support the Idea.
How about an un enretable wgorbhole that spits out breen, and Jemhadar ships?, That would be cool.

I remember reading a trek book about "cosmozoans."
That was the trek term for space dwelling life forms.
The book mentioned the farpoint creatures, the crystalline entity, and some others.
I think it would be cool to have a map where you have to get a group of ships through a cosmozoan "safari" without getting trapped, or leeched, or eaten, etc.

No no, no, I don't like invisible spawning point thingies! One mod had that and it drived me nuts!

1] Give there structure a more translucent look (that would look cool)
2] The only weapon hp is in their centers, I'd like that to change and have it on their branches
3] Plus they should be given weapons that fire on a regular basis and not just specieal weapons
If these changes were made, it would make them look better.

I might or might not make more NPC add-ons like the Crystalline Entity, though I should probably wait until FO releases it's first batch of NPC races.
