This is a StarGate mod with three races in one game.
The Tau'ri, the Goa'uld Empire and the Wraith.

The Ori and the Replicators will be part of the Fleet Ops somewhere in the future :-)

Have fun, regards,
Miklos

well, i have tried your mod. it's interesting but you still have a lot of work ahead. many ships simply don't know how to pass through a nebula that is surrounded by asteroids. but still, the mod might be something nice in the future.

Good luck with the mod. so far, i think you've done a good job.

I managed to launch the mod , StarGate Rise to Power.
Yes. I've tried a few hours to put it back into the function and I managed to start the mod.

Available races: Goauld, Replicators, Asgard and Ori.

Unfortunately, this races are broken, can't use it: Ancients, Tau'ri and Wraith.

I work on a second StarGate Mod for Fleet Ops based on the mod made for Star Trek Armada 2.

Sounds Interesting, and a great addition. Sounds like it could easily be an Exspansion Pack/Mod for your already released Stargate Mod. Then all the races can face each other, after all, the Tau'ri did fight the Asurans (Replicators), so did the Wraith, the codes the Wraith shutdown/deactivated in the Asurans after all was an attack code for them to attack the Wraith like the Ancients intended them to do.

It's great to see the Genii being created, another good races that lived only in space was the Travelers and they have very unique ships since they really just salvaged many of them.

Are you making more models of ships and stations for the Ancients, Asgard, Ori, and the Asurans (Replicators) than is already available? It'd be nice to see your design ideas for these races.

****

As for what in have from "The Rise To Power Mod" that I sent you, I've attempted to add some ships and stations for the Tau'ri and the Wraith to it. I've also think I may have figured out why these races don't work in "Rise To Power", some of the ships belonging to these races have corrupt SOD files that crash MS3D when trying to look at them, they also cause the individual races to crash when they are placed into the game via (through) the Map Editor. Since these ships are listed as Buildable, I'd surmise that they are the reason why these races don't load in that mod. I'll let you know which ships they are sometime.

I don't have the regular A2 version of the mod anymore, I've just been sticking with the FleetOps Mods Directory version. The version for A2 that you sent me didn't work, plus it looked like it had extra files and was missing the one thing that did make it work when it was working, the Patch Project 1.2.5 Patch.

I'm still attempting to get the FleetOps Mods Directory version of this "Rise To Power Mod" but I think it will work someday.

Yes, I'm working on the new race, the Genii. Will have their own space station and a space fleet. Will be present as the Genii Confederation, a great power in the Pegasus Galaxy, long before their great civilizations being almost exterminated by the Wraith fleet.

Yes, I managed to launch the mod , StarGate Rise to Power. I've tried a few hours to put it back into the function and I managed to start the mod. I worked almost the whole game, unfortunately, this races are broken, can't use it: Ancients, Tau'ri and Wraith.

Available races: Goauld, Replicators, Asgard and Ori.

After a few hours of work, I managed to launch the Tau'ri race from the ST Armada 2 mod " StarGate Rise to Power".
Some ODF file is so damaged, that I can use only a few ships from the original mod. Here is a screen-shoot.
If I must to rework the Tau'ri race, I plan to add some ancient battleships, creating a Tau'ri - Ancient race.
Selecting the Tau'ri race to play against to another race, you have the ISS space station and the StarGate Command and upgrading your Tau'ri race, you can access the Ancient technology, so you are able to drive the ancient battleships :-)

Please let me know what ODF files are damaged. Way before I sent you the mod I fixed every ODF file, and each one worked fine (of course except for the ships that were crashing MS3D as SOD files, they were also causing problems in the game).

Do you use the Patch Project 1.2.5 Patch? Without that, almost every ODF file in that mod to an untrained eye that never used that patch (or something called Vanilla Ulimate it turns out) would look at the files and think they are damaged without taking a further look. I did that at first glance but after awhile I figured it out. All the needed files to get it to work I sent you unless you took everything out of its own directory. What I mean is you have the needed patch for it to work and Vanilla Ultimate.

I haven't had any problems with the ODF files whatsoever, especially since removing the "corrupt" SOD files or should I say commenting them out of all necessary files. :)
I'd suggest you take alook at the ODF files again.

Hi. After a few hours of working on a Tau'ri mod, I managed to launch this race. But for some unknown reason, the Tau'ri race is broke, because of some ODF files.
Of course, I have your mod that you sent to me, but for some unknown reason, I failed to launch it from the mod directory. So I decide to try to rebuild the entire mod and I managed to launch 4 races. I have no idea why not work on your computer.
Anyway, I'm working on a second StarGate mod for Fleet Ops using your "StarGate Rise to Power mod. " The good thing is that I gained some experience regarding the works of the game.

Once I'm done with my final projects (research papers) for college and taken care of some church and Youth Group related work and activities, I'll let you know which SOD files are corrupt and causing the Tau'ri in Rise To Power not to work, really its only about 2-3 ships, the same can be said about the other races that don't work perfectly.

By any chance can you attach, message me, or place into a Dropbox account the original ODF files that you have said are so damaged so I can let you know more about them? It might just be coding related to the Patch Project and Vanilla Ultimate 2.0.0, as I said before, both I found are highly used in that mod and what makes it work. Maybe knowing why you say they're damaged can I (we) absolutely know for sure. That would be most helpful. :)

that looks like a failed borg experiment to try cloaking a cube.

how does the square behave? like a unit? or as part of the background? can you interact with it? is it here to advance our species' understanding of the universe?
