We had a bug in the development version and needed two weeks to fix it. Now everything is working as it should again.

Question, can the sun damage ships if they stray too close to the core like in that one episode of TNG when those 2 BoP met their doom?

I also asked Optec that on IRC, and he said YES it will, but that's something for V4.

No luring fleets of noobs into sun for me...yet... Also will planets ever be used for mining/colonization/defense?

planets won't be used for mining as known in armada2. but we are thinking of a way to make planets "usable" within the neutral-station feature. but that's something for v4, too

very nice... very nice indeed!!! But I wonder if these new effects slow down fsp rate while playing. U propalby tested them.. how did they run. Did they need any more horse powers from your PC???
