DOCa Cola wrote:@jetnova: You should see right away if the patch was installed successful by looking in the right lower corner of the main screen. If you see 1.3.0 written there, everything installed ok

The problems with the graphics come from armada 1 itself. I am not sure if i can fix them. The graphic interface is OLD. Though "only" two years older than that from armada 2, with directx 7 technically still in another world

Ok, I guess it installed then because I do see 1.3.0 in the lower right corner of the main screen.

I don't know what to do about the graphics, even though they were better for me without the patch, game play wasn't perfect then though.

I am not sure what graphics card I have, but I have a Toshiba Satellite L350 Series Laptop, that I got 2 years ago (February 2009 - February 2011). All I know is that I have an Intel Centrino Processor (with the sticker on my pc saying inside tm)

I guess I'll have to hope that I can get my idea of adding the Armada I Campaigns to Armada II working or keep hoping for the camapign to be added to Fleet Ops someday. :)

Well in the mean time, I got Armada II to work on and play. :)

for those of you with gfx problems on nvidia cards:
Nvidia made a few bugfixes for some dx7 games.
I helped create a tutorial on how to do it in the freefalcon forum, here.
How to Create an Nvidia Profile to run ffviper.exe with the FalconAF/Gothic2 fix..
I don't have n nvidia card anymore so if someone else could try it? worked perfectly for me in freefalcon.

if your graphics card doesnt work with fleetops, i wonder if it would be possible to run fleetops using swiftshader? fleetops doesnt have steep graphics requirements, so if you have a fast processor it might get ok performance.

I still have the stretching problem. Tried playing around with hardware acceleration but no luck.
Updated my nvidia drivers to latest version.

Anyone has further ideas?
