You may remember that just two days ago we have released the 3.0.2 patch... Do you? No? thats good! Then you won't notice that 3.0.3 is just a hotfix for some bugs that surfaced in 3.0.2. For the cover-up we also put two maps into 3.0.3 so we have atleast one feature to talk about. Image

I'm loving the new release; downloading it now :)

I've played through 3.02 a bit and I like the changes. The Federation in particular seem to feel more responsive and mobile with the modified Warp In ability.

I had to kind of double take when I saw my name credited! It's a honour to have a couple of my maps added to an official release :). I believe my current line up needs to be updated to v3.03 so I'll work on updating my the rest of my lineup!

I couldn't find an odf file that created absolute total darkness for "The Void" (there was no option, for zero stars, in the editor and I took a pretty good look through the folders - since I couldn't find one, I created it myself). The update I was referring to was actually a general update to bring all my maps to v3.03. At the moment they are all designed for v3.01 and as such, none of them will appear in v3.03 yet.

What kind of issues are you having with "The Void"?

because if i install "the Void" along with you extra .odf when i go to play a multiplayer game online i will have one extra .odf that others dont have, and Armada checks all your .odf agaisnt other players to make sure you have the same version so that one extra .odf makes my FO incompatiable with everyone else unless they have the void too... (.odf arent transfered when downloading a custom made map, just the bitmap n .bzn) so really you need to redo the void removing that .odf or asking the FO team to add it by default...

Thanks for the patch guys, and I have a little suggestion: the next patches from now on you should release them as beta, even if you think they are ready, because as you said, you can't possibly track all the bugs. So release the patch as beta, wait a few day to get the feedback and then release the final version.

Star Trek Armada II: Fleet Operations Patch, Star Trek: Armada 2 Downloads, Star Trek: Armada 2 Total Conversions

Had no major with the patch yet, no crashed, save games seem to work fine (at least when I tried). Excellent work guys. :) Keep the stuff coming!

Wow... It really sucked not being able to build Miranda-II's and not being able to get Lv. 5 Defiants without crashing the game.  :shifty:  Not that I really use them... :cloak:
