Hi all!

Today we were having a really interesting game, resulting in a draw. Me, Serpicus and Galefury played a 1vs1vs1 on a circular map called borderlands. I was Rommie, Serpicus Dominion and Galefure took klingon. Everyone picked the moons right of him, built up a proper defense (well, i forgot to build frighters LOL) and didn't care about aggressive playing too much. I relied on a minefield to protect myself, galefury amassed an impressive amount of small rather small vessels, and serpicus prepared several full fleets of V13 battleships.

After some time we were all so powerful that noone dared to attack one other, because the third one would have used this situation to his advantage. As a result we called the game a draw.

As i ad my spies everywhere i was the cameraman and used the opportunity for some nice pics of the few battles:

In the first battle serpicus had to retreat.

But in the second battle serpicus provided a little more firepower...

romulan mines made the game die on us . jk
in any case, Can the mods check the way the mines are processed. Everything froze during this last battle between me and gale's klings.

You know,  Serpicus, cbos and I almost did the same thing on the same map.  Only Cbos Died and Serp and I quit before the game really ended, but it may have resulted in a draw.  Maybe that is just a very balanced map.

And filally my personal mine field. Never do that, never! Reasons...

1) You start and never stop ... you will never think it's enough

2) It is a fun killer. Sice there is no countermeasure but sending masses of scouts, one likes to attack you.

3) If done properly you are nearly invincible. Spread the fields and locate artillary in there. Completly imber

4) The game starts to lag horribly after some hundred mines.

Nevertheless it looked amazing:

Yeah the way that map goes either someone attacks and the other person comes in for the kill or 2 people team up aganst the 3rd usually.

Good fun though!
