Here you can arrange online encounters and reminisce over past online battles.

So I have a confession to make.  I've never played an RTS against someone by myself EVER....RTS has never been my strong game type.  Every time I've played a fellow human I've had several RL friends playing against other RL friends.  Anyone wanna go easy on a mediocre Borg player?  If I turn out to be decent enough my brother wants to do dedicated 2v2's.  Anyhoo, let me know if anyone wants to start up a network....or if there's one already out there.

p.s. for the Devs of FO...thanks for making the best RTS, albeit a mod, I've ever played and conquering my fear of getting my ass handed to me in RTS games.

You're very brave, and I really respect your post and willingness to play. I suck at FO ask mark XD, so if you want an easy win, let me know and I'll try to play when I can. Most of the guys here are usually fun to play one on one with and the Borg can be pretty awesome if used right.

You just double click on each persons name you want to have a game with, then make a game in ISP and game away

Sorry Deimos  :(
It's gonna have to wait until this weekend due to the craptastic amount of stuff I have to do  :whistling:
Yea Prelims. Yea Papers. Yea....

sorry for my ignorance on this  :sweatdrop:

Naa, have to have it installed seperately: just google Hamachi and go for the non commercial license as that's really your only option. Basically you can only have up to 16 people on one network though.  :(

If you want to play today via Lamespy I am available.  I have never played online either.  I'm just used to playing with my bro on lan games, and against the AI.  If you are open for a game I am free today.

btw, forgive my noobness, but what is Hamachi?!?!? :sweatdrop:

they answered this noob <-- above :). It;s a software that allows ur PC to link to a VPN of the same name.
Once u download and install the software, you'll be able to access specific networks. Many players here have created their own sub-domains as it were on the VPN, if you know of some u can login and access it. Otherwise you can create your own listing of players and invite others. Once you have a group that belongs to a specific list of players, you simply have one host, launch ur FO and connect via local TCP/IP. You'll see the game, join and play away.

hope that was accurate enough :sweatdrop:

I must confess, I have never played any game online, that wasn't specifically made for online play. Ever. So, would anyone be willing to absoulutely batter a newb in the name of 'fun'?  :D I have used hamachi before, but I had no game to play it with. (BTW: Computer noob here) So, if anyone wants a game, I will play just for the experience. I only started playing FO 30 minutes ago, so, uh, yeah. Challenge me at your peril.
