Hello there!
I was wondering if some of you might be interested in giving me some online-experience.
I played some instant matches vs the AI and watched alot of match-replays - so I´m quite itchy to play against some of you guys and learn more about how to play this absolutely amazing mod!
All the best!

welcome to the forums daddyrabbit.
just come on tunngle, most of the players are friendly, just let people know you are new and want some training and im sure you'll find someone to play.
games dont need to be scheduled at all, so just come on tunngle whenever you like.
hope you enjoy your time in the community. hopefully i'll be on more in the coming week during the uk working day.

You can also use Teamspeak for better training...just join a channel and ask if one of the guys can give instructions (observer) while you have a game with another player.

I'd be happy to get you started with of the basic considerations people use when playing online .
Check out Dom's guide to fleetops for a good idea of your options (smart startups and such) so that we can jump right in to how to best use those pretty ships of yours!

what i've done when introducing friends to fleet-ops is after they got the basics given them a head start (normally 45 seconds) . so 45 seconds after they start i choose my avatar. it makes things less one sided as they know they have a chance to hit me first and even though i know the game better i do have to work at it still.
if you want i'll play a few games like that with you, that way its like 30 losing games then a winning game. just shoot me a pm.

I'll have a game or two with you to help.
Don't worry, I'm quite a pushover when it comes to FLOPS lol.
You should win quite easily!
