I’m glad to announce the first prize-based Fleet Ops tournament ever! (sponsored by Elim

)
I aksed Halfala here in pm, and also in e-mail about if he wants to organise his tourney (I definetaly don’t want to do it in the same time) he doesn’t responded so I decided to start this.

The basics would be very similar to Halfala’s summer tournament. There are goiong to be single elimination games with random opponents, 1v1 best of three. The match for first place going to be a best of five. Official map: Duel II V 1.1

I bet everybody is curious about the prizes, don’t think about anything big. First place: 15€ Second place: 10€ Third place 5€. Only a small amout of bucks to make it a bit more interesting.

Rules: Every game needs to be observed at least by 1 person, and admiral’s logs needed to be sent to this e-mail adress: evilelim@gmail.com at least by 2 person (for example by the winner and by the observer). There will be no rules aginst spamming and using annoying strategies (like dodec turreting the opponents base, hyperspacing whole fleets, ktinga rushing, warpin rushing etc.) all the dirty stuff is allowed besides exploiting known game bugs like: cloak following, blocking construction with cloaked ships (for example delaying SFC building with scout), or detecting cloaked ships with building footprints. If somebody disconnects a rematch will occur, unless both sides agree about somebody’s victory. Running and hiding with last cloaked scouts also not allowed. I ask players and observers to let me know if any of those happens.

Any attempt to break these simple rules will mean instant disqualification.

About deadlines: Take them seriously. If one player „disappears” before the match is going to happen (we never see him on tunngle or doesn’t responds to private massages) he will be disqualified. I will make these kind of decisons with my own judgement (maybe count in opinions of some ppl who are regularly on tunngle) to avoid pointless arugments.

With my recent gaming experience these rules are completely fair, and acceptable.
I will administrate and update the current scores as fast as I can. (I will put a link to the brackets here)

Time period for the first round: november 5-22 23:59 GMT (you will need to play 2 matches with everybody in your group, aka 6 games)
