So i uploaded some replays today and youtube was like hey, copyright violation so i looked at it and it is on this vid
YouTube
- 3v3 4
and said this
Your video, 3v3 4 , may include content that is owned or administered by these entities:
Entity: Sony ATV Publishing Content Type: Musical Composition
now i can only assume this is multimedia pack related, i head that dominion uses music from Independence day? could that be the cause
this is important as, copyright violation = ray not getting unlimited upload time = ray
so could somone help me out with info on this? maybe the devs could shine some light on this, if nothing else i will just delete that replay, and hope that youtube love me for it

Don't worry about it too much... I've got 4 of those copy-right violations, and I still have the longer vid length. It might hurt you a little, but not much.

sounds like multimedia pack to me. youtube is very biased towards big companies. the burden of proof is on you to prove you arent violating copyright, the big companies probably just send to youtube spreadsheets of videos they feel offend them in any way and youtube bends over and serves them instead of serving its users. its ridiculous, but its either that or another video site. and they arent really as good as youtube feature wise.
i dont use the music cos i dont like it, but i see it could also help protect me from the wrath of sony.
about the new limit. ive heard of people losing their ability if they had a violation, usually that means youtube rejects the video. as the video was accepted, its probably fine.

Pretty sure you can 'tag' the music in the description to give it credit and avoid violations.
