Intresting Link when logging in

The site was slow today and I ended at a site with that link. I cut out http www and my PASSWORD in plain text.
So, is there realy the password send in the url everytime I log in in plain text?

Hm, i cannot assess if or how big of a security issue that is and will probably change anyway when the site is being updated.
