Do you play any MMO?
Want to say something off topic? Something that has nothing to do with Trek? Post it here.

Not an MMO exactly, but been playing Neverwinter Nights 2 online quite a bit recently... which is why I haven't been online with FO much.

I used to play the discovery mod for Freelancer online a lot (the main server for the mod is a RP server) but it's gone way downhill the past year so I quit it.
Nothing else really, theres so few good RPGs out there, much less MMOs.

WoW is a MMO, right? Or is a MMORPG a different thing?
Either way, I played that for a while before quitting entirely quite fast because of the damn lagging.

MMO usually referes to a massive multiplayer online game, and MMORPGs are a subgenre, massive multiplayer online role play games. most MMOs are considered to be MMORGPs (WoW, Aion, STO, ..) but there is not much RPG in them. Dialogs like
"Hey you over there. Kill this dragon!"
"Why?"
"You get this sword!"
"ok"
are not exactly what I would expect from an RPG
That being said, i'm wasting some time in Civilization at the moment. On to world domination! Let's start with the swimming pools!

I've played City of Heroes, Lord of the Rings Online, and Star Trek Online (in that order, basically), but I don't currently have a subscription to any of them. I'll play Star Wars: The Old Republic once that comes out.

Ok, so we should all lower our expectations now regarding the release date for the next FO patch... sometime in the next decade?

played a few years ago alot anarchy online and managed there to become a general in one of the most popular guilds of the server (there were only 3 server),getting some badass equippment and even became a bit known in the game. Joined Twink wars, were at nearly every big Towerwar if i was not at work.
After that i played a bit WoW and now a bit Runes of Magic. But im far away from spending so much time again as in Anarchy Online and i would never ever do that again.
The stuff you do in the Real Life matters, mmo's should nevah have a high priority

I play the F2P MMO Tactical Strategy game NavyField. I'm on the Bismarch server for the most part, so if you join, look me up (same user name). I also play STO, but find it as boring as WoW was, which I quit fairly early on (pre-level 20ish). The only reason I don't quit STO is because I'm a life-timer, and am hoping the game gets better with updates. So far so good on that, but not nearly coming quick enough to compete with the new Star Wars MMO that is going to launch beta soon. Beyond that, all I can really say is I'm not a big MMO fan. It's really kind of lame and I much prefer RTS' and Turn Based Strategy games.

Cybernations
Used to play: Lunarwars, Galava, Tribal Wars and NationStates.
Nowadays i only do CN because of the inter-alliance politics.
