I'm sure somebody here has got it working, how did you do it? I've never played it before, it looks like a great game and I'd like to try it out.

I don't think I had any problems running it on win7 32 bit. I haven't tested it on my new machine yet, but it is a great game. I might need to do try it again. :)

there are almost no problems with homeworld 2 on win7. the one issue i know about is that you have to enable vertical sync in the graphics options, otherwise the game may run very slow.

Got it working under Windows 7 without a problem, I just have one question: how do I add command line parameters in Windows? One guy said to get it to run at unsupported resolution I have to change the shortcut to this:

Also I modified my game shortcut to run at my screens resolution: ...\bin\release\Homeworld2.exe -w 1920 -h 1080

Right click on the shortcut, select Properties, and add on to the target. So, for instance, if you want to run Homeworld 2 at 1280x768 you would add "-w 1280 -h 768" without the quotes to the end of the target field.

I got it working :D thanks you guys. Unfortunately it doesn't work in Windows 8, good thing I still have 7.

This game is great, especially considering how old it is!
