FYI - the question wasn't on the test after she said "omg it's gona be on the test blah blah blah"

but yea the correct answer is miliseconds

i think that was a bad question to ask, in a few years hard drives may get faster, then 1 ms will be too long and we will need to decrease the unit.

ms is only the "correct" answer now since it is most convenient. a better phrased question would be: "what is most commonly used unit of measurement for access time"
