[align=center]Gamecube was overrated.
SNES and NES had some of the best games ever.
Even some of the hand held gameboy games post SNES were great (compared to the following consoles).
Once gamecube and N64 came out they focused too heavily on 3d gimmicks and not enough on story and gameplay.
Basicly, console games are heavily retarded these days now that they focus on graphics and what not over content.
PC games are not quite as bad as of yet, and can be modded heavily as well.
Or to sum it up.

why did you centre your text?
both n64 and gamecube were failures from a purely sales pov. i actually did a piece of coursework recently where i analysed the failures of those 2 consoles. they went from complete dominance with the NES then SNES to below average with the N64 and failure with the GameCube. thats why gamecubes are now worth the same as their games.
if nintendo hadnt got it right with the wii (and boy did they get it right) then i believe it would have been their last console, just like when sega left the console market with their dreamcast. which was a technically good console, just sega couldnt shift anywhere near as many as sony did with the ps2.
that ignores the biggest success of this console generation, the wii.

if you're gonna edit quotes you shouldnt do it when quoting a post that is the one immediately before your own.

No, it was more of a case of mocking him for crying over formating than anything else.
