First the space shuttle Enterpries will be making a fly-over of NYC on the 23rd on the back of the SCA 747 and then will be taken to the flight deck of the USS Intrepid for a short time then to its final residence near the Intrepid.
The CVN-65 Big E is on its final deployment. After 50+ years of great service it will be decommissioned in 2013. They unfortunately wont be able to turn it into a museum due to the nuclear powerplant but they will save the island. The rest of the ship will be made scrap in 2015.
