Strange enough i didn't find a recent (less than 6 months old) topic about the New Orleans.
I stumbled upon this article which has a nice background story from various canon and tech manuals.

Lots of info on a variety of classes. I now to know where to go for detailed information. There is a good chance that I will read through all the pages over the next several months. I am not sure to thank you or not.  So much time down the drain.
