Has anyone been to check the other ST: Online ships? There is more than just Excalibur/Constitution III and the Defiant-wannabee. By that, I also mean reading site member's comments on the ships to see the general reaction off our site.

Yeah I've seen all of them. That klingon carrier looks intense. Would give a descent a run for its money.

The "Valiant" Class looks interesting...

Though I think the NX 91001 (Orion Class I'll call it) would look real good in FO... sort of...

Maybe a sovereign 2 for when the need arises, but IMO it's ugly.

I like the Valiant, Vo"Quv, and new NX vessels the most. The science vessel is interesting. I am anxious to see what others will be put up.

im not sure if im in the minority here but the art design for this game just looks awful.  i mean dreadfully awful......way to cartoony.

the klingon carrier doesnt look big.  i cant put my finger on it but if you look at the windows on it for size comparison, it doesnt give me the impression of being huge at all.  the NX is just laziness on their part.  all they did was add some weird thing to the tail end and whala, a new ship.

to be honest i might give this game a shot but im not really impressed as of yet.  is there going to be a cap on how many of the large ships are allowed in an area or will everyone have the NX and the klingon carriers after a few months.  im hoping that the textures can be edited so that non WoW players like me dont feel like im in an episode of looney toons.

Can't believe they brought back the Raptor.  Of all the Iconic Klingon ships how about a D-7 Mk II.  If your going to go old go classic?

I happen to like the raptor class. Anyways the D7 is cool and i head a rumor that it is the Klingon starter ship.

That would be the K't'inga Class. On a side note: According to Memory Beta, K't'inga means 'Bringer of Destruction'.

Actually, the K't'inga and D7 are different. The D7 came first but was replaced by the far more advanced K'T'inga.

I never really bought that whole The KTinga is a separate ship.  We first see in Star Trek I we also see a vastly changed Enterprise which is just a refitted constitution class so why is the Ktinga not a refitted D7, hell it might be the same, D7 Ktinga class cruiser, like a P51 Mustang?

As far as its return I hope so.  I do like the raptor by the way I just don't know why it HAD to be refitted.  Do we know it was a famous class?  They never fleshed out Enterprise as a series enough to determine that, and the fact that they introduced the  early BoP tells me that the Raptor was a seldom used scout?

Your aware that the Excelsior-II is the Excelsior MkII yet is a seperate ship, right? Same with the Miranda-II. It's the same with the D-7 and the K't'inga.

I don't think that the Ktinga replaces the D7.  The MK II excelsior is a new design created almost a century later that is based on the design.  The Ktinga is the TMP version of the D7.  It might have earned a nickname or maybe its name is a shift in view.  In the TOS the D7 might be the ships number destination and do to the tension between the Federation and the Empire it is only referred to but its number, but in the TNG, with the Alliance we see the Klingon perspective on the ship which they refer to as the Ktinga, which is its nickname.
