3.1.4 Soundtrack Problem

I had 3.1.3 installed and elected to do an uninstall/reinstall for 3.1.4, but when I tried to reinstall the Multimedia Pack it didn't work - the error was something like "Can't init wav file". Now there's no music at all. Any suggestions?
