Ok, say you have 3.0 installed and Daemon Tools/CD Image won't play it, how could you get the game working?

A lot of people have their CD's mysteriously fail these days...Even if you CD is almost unreadable...you shouldn't need the image. I used an image to install A2, but I run it off my CD because one of the install sectors is screwed =/. I never felt the need to totally negate the CD.

Mine was gone and I had to use the backup. For what reason ever it didn't work, only during the installation. But luckily I found the original and everything's fine again. I'd really like to know why this error occured because it seems like backups would actually never work then  :ermm:

being forced to have a cd in your opticel drive sucks.

if want to play something i double klick an icon on my desktop and thats it, the cds/dvds belong in a shelf of cupboard.

fleet operations 3.0 uses a standard 1.1 armada2.exe file that is compatible with all those unofficial patches out there.
