A wee little techtree bug.

I've played Mayson this one time on a map that had a derilict Risner constrictor. I tried to experiment to see what would happen. I got the other half of the tree. Though I never retried because of me getting confused which is my original and which was my 'other' builder. Plus I didn't like the horrible lag after that because of  having both halves of the tree.

Am I alone here, if I am I assume it is something with me. If not, then I think it should be fixed. :sweatdrop:

hm, that shouldn't cause lag, as both federation techtrees are loaded either way.

Gaining Risners tech as Mayson is not a bug, thats intended

YOU!!!!!!   number guy.

your the one who made all those maps!!!

i dont know if i want to kiss you or slap the everliving hell outa you.

i'd like to say i truely apprecieate all the hard work you've done on all the various maps.  and while i truely love some, the others drive me to drink.

i would like to second the confusion of the two different types of constructos, and would think it IDEAL is there were some say to difereancieate between the two.  not just fed, but all races.  I dont know how this could be done.

All races have two options for avitars.  Maybe all the constructor ship names could end in a letter, A or B  and that would tell you wich side of the tree it is on.

A or Mason,   B for Risner

just my thought.

keep up the Good (and annoying) work number guy.  your hard work IS apprecieated

Scrolling over the Constructor should suffice... some times.

You could try using a different ship Class for a Constructor for each avatar. For example; a Mediterranean Class as Mayson and a modified Centaur Class as Risner.

Or an icon in the wireframe.

Either way, it would need a second Sod, another Admirals Log image and another Button/wireframe entry...

I'm planning on proposing a Centaur construction refit for Risner. Though it may take a while to properly scale it (the only time I ever seen it was in DS9, but the Defiant class is still not properly scaled, so it will be HARD).

If someone can get me a scale chart with a Centaur in it, I'd appreciate that.

Centaur's Planned Stats:

Offensive: 12
Defensive: 41
System: 12

- Type IV-S Phaser (A phaser that deals increased damage to stations, but decreased damage to Cruisers)
- Tractor Beam (A long range tractor beam made to tow disabled vessels)
- Type I Torpedo (Fires a single torpedo at a target)
- Combat Design (Passive: Enables the ship to travel faster than most other construction vessels)

Let's put it this way; the Saucer is the same size an an Excelsior Class's. Scale the Saucer to an Excelsior and you've got the best size possible.
