base upgrading bug

Sometimes when you upgrade your starbase to level 2 offense or defense, a strange bug appears: The GUI seems "locked". as you can't select anything, and the starbase's stats seem to attach to the cursor, following the cursor where ever you point it. Any chance of a fix for this bug in the next patch?

thats something i never exerpienced, i just tried quickly to recreate it but id didn't work for me. any other info on the situation once this bug appears? the race you were playing, any other orders in progress or something similar?

It does not appear all the time, just sometimes and it's more frequent for the romulan starbase from what I've seen

i have had that,its locked for a short while but mine recovers itself,does it not just upgradin,i find select building unit as team 1,when it happens press 1 it seems to correct things faster and then u can just get on with the game,not sure wat causes it,but doesnt cause me too much trouble

I've never had an Upgrade lock, just the standard lag.

i have had that,its locked for a short while but mine recovers itself,does it not just upgradin,i find select building unit as team 1,when it happens press 1 it seems to correct things faster and then u can just get on with the game,not sure wat causes it,but doesnt cause me too much trouble

For me it does not recover, I need to save the game, quit and load it again

happens every other game but my pc is high spec just assumed it summut to do with that,game plays fine and have no other probs at all,and it is just momentary,if anything,i assume any probs i have with game r a vista issue,coz am nt a fan of vista

i have experienced that only one time (i am not sure if it also was during station upgrade) but was never able to reproduce the issue. it's hard to fix that way...still, seems not to be occurring quite often. the same thing can happen in you accidentally press the enter key

Ive experienced this by spamming the upgrade buttons on my Starbase. For example when it's under attack, I click both Offense And Defense Upgrade buttons quickly alternating back and forth trying to max it out as quickly as possible... When I do this focus often becomes 'locked' on the Station and I have to click on the 'build' button then click the 'back' button before I can click on any other station or vessel... annoying though it doesn't happen ALL the time. It has happened to me several times.

it doesn't happen every time, just sometimes. I got this error last time about 4 days ago, and I played every day

Try just clicking the offense button lots of times, don't need to move the mouse because the deffense button goes to where offense was.
