If u are building something and get attacked then stop building and have your con ship run the worker bees cant catch up. see the attached image from a game where the con ship ran all over the map, but its worker bees were nearly left behind.

It's only the Mediterranean due to it's speed :)

send it through a wormhole and the workbees run run and run through blockable objects lol... only if you could put a spy on them hehehe...

Fighters get beamed aboard their host ship? I thought fighters and bees are still too large to transport?

nope look at nemesis were picard and data were beamed onboard the ent with the scorpion class fighter

As long as you have a big enough transporter pad you should be just fine. It wouldn't surprise me if the construction ships had industrial size transporters.

well it depends, on FO timeline  if we are talking about future, then transporting will be the "Cool New Thing" everyone is getting lol

you dnt always need a transporter pad look how many times whole cargo loads have been transported into the cargo bayi think the pads are used as there that bit safer but not really needed (plus its a centeral area were its clear and percise co-ordinates can be storeed making it easier to lock onto (i'm prob wrong but thats my observation of them)
