ok this bug does not cause a ctd therefore no error log but if you have Biopulse in game then the weapon will only work on the exact odfs defined
eg
stock biopulse uses 1 8472_frigate.odf and 4-8 8472_battle.odf
now if either an 8472_battle.odf or the 8472_frigate.odf levels up the weapon becomes unusable by that vessel. now unfortunatly you can not define each rank in the odf (only allows 2 ships to be defined) also adding originalclass and/or basename to the ranking vessels odf does not fix this issue.
can this annoyance be corrected in a near future patch
