I know that this has been posted before in 3.04 and below, but it is back with a vengeance in 3.05.

The map was The Reef, players were Klingon vs Borg.

4 Scout Cubes and a Probe were selected to use tranwarp on Veqlaraghs. Instead of jumping to the desired location, they jumped several screens away into the corner of the map, which was occupied by the impenetrable asteroid field (bottom left corner). It took a few tries (5) to jump the ships back out into open space again. The Scubes and Probe may have been slightly out of range for immediately jumping into the midst of the Klingon vessels.  :borg:

Travelling through transwarp ain’t like dusting crops, boy…without precise calculations you could fly right through a star or bounce too close to a supernova, and that would end your trip real quick, wouldn’t it?

bottom left corner eh? sounds like coordinates 0,0,0 to me. i'll put a todo up for that

That bug exists in stock A2.  Load stock, make a fleet of interceptors, select them all, and try to transwarp near a gravity well, or a long distance.  You'll appear in the top left corner, off the map, and not be able to recover those ships, though they are still selected.

eta:  It only happens when transwarping multiple units at once, btw.

yes, this bug has not been fixed. it's not that easy to modify stock armada 2 code. it always takes a lot of time. it is still on todo

Couldn't we leave it and call it 'Pilot error'?

Oke doke: wasn't sure .

If it helps, it can happen with just Scout Cubes... though it seems to happen always when more than one are selected at the same time and you try to transwarp just at the end of their range.
