Does anyone know how to change network cfg so I could actually 'see' games on GS. I used to before but now I can't. Is it possible my firewall is blocking it? :ermm:

Here are my connect settings.. I'm sure their wrong.

DirectPlay 8 Ports

2300..2400 UDP inbound and outbound
6073          TCP inbound and outbound

GameSpy Ports

80        TCP, outbound
6500    UDP, inbound
6667    TCP, outbound
13139  UDP, inbound and outbound
27900  UDP, inbound and outbound
28900  TCP, outbound
29900  TCP, outbound
29901  TCP, outbound

If there is a miss cfg, how do I modify it?

Are you using a NetGear router by any chance?
(and yes, it is possible that your firewall is blocking it)

You should consult your router's manual if you need to know how to configure ports and firewall exceptions.

You should see ALL games even if you use a firewall. The thing is that you cant join or host games when those ports you listed above are not open. So maybe it's because there are no games open in the gs ingame lobby or the guy who hosted the game has not opend the ports correctly and still using his firewall (hardware or software doesnt matter).

You should check this first. If you have opend the ports of your linksys hardware firewall as stated above you should be able to host and join games without further problems. Make also sure your desktop firewall doesn't block your fleetops exe!

If you need help to open your ports directly I'm sorry. I don't use this router and have no clue what to do. Somehow try to use your browser to login to your router or use your router software. It'Äs different from router to router. You should know it best.

This site might be able to help, it has step-by-step instructions for hundreds of different routers and games.
