Cloaked ships when Neutral in alliances

I've been doing a lot of RP's with some friends using the mod and we've noticed that rather annoyingly when you're set to Neutral you can't detect cloaked ships, directed scans or passive scans don't show them up, yet if you use the ping feature it shows where they are, you just can't do anything about it.

Doesn't really make sense considering if you're set as enemies you can see them and if you're set as allies you can see them, so would it be possible to make it so when you're set as neutral your sensor arrays will also detect cloaked ships please?

Interesting issue... guess they are considered "weapons" . I can't remember - do area of effect weapons damage neutral vessels as well?

Alliances game mode, you can set yourself to be enemy, neutral or ally in the chat/comm menu.

edit: i guess i found the issue. the wrong hit condition was set for the detection. we'll fix that asap.

btw: if you find more issues with the alliances mode, please let me know. that is something we usually do not test

yes, yes they do.  Dumb Ferengi always taken my vipers...  Never get past my multitarget missiles. :2guns:

Awesome thank you, very much appreciated, I only usually play Alliances mode so I'll get back to you if I find any more bugs with it :)
