Cube crash

Earlier i was playing a game, and my ally made a cube. and i think i looked at it, and then i ctd.

this has happened several times before to me, if i build a cube, or watch a cube building, fine. but if i go straight to seeing it made, kaboom.

i tried getting log, but madexcept crashed too. but i have sent the log in for previous crashes.

has anyone else had these crashes, im starting to worry that i cant play any match where a cube is likely lol.

wow I regularly play on LAN with up to six friends, which means there are usually at least 3 or 4 cubes rolling around and I have never had this problem...

Are you playing over the net?

yeah on tunngle. its happened in 1v1 and 3v3 and i think a 4v4 once. i bet its my useless rig crashing cos it cant handle th awesomeness of such a large ship.

u got a better rig than me and im doin fine with borg cubes.....

tried a full uninstall, deleting folders and reinstall yet?

this has happened before and after full reinstalls. ive had the problem for a few patches now.

mmmmm    try and grab someone and make an unlimited res game and test and try to recreate the crash for a report to see if its anything to do with the game coding (long shot)  but otherwise it could just be that ur g card doesnt like FO  got another card u can test with?  roll back drivers/update?

sent the bug report previous times it happened

laptop only has integrated graphics chip, and cant add a card, no space inside and runs hot already. already on older oem drivers, new intel drivers cause fleetops to run poorly.

There is of detail in borg stuff, maybe the cube is just too much for your intigrated graphics to cope with.

Try lowering your graphics to the bare min and see if the cube causes another crash then.

Unless you really need a laptop why not upgrade to a decent pc, i paid just 180 quid for my pc and my mate gave me his spare gt240 and 22inch monitor for nothing.

i'd love to get a better machine, sadly money isnt readily available. next time i get some money together, a new pc for gaming is high up on my list of stuff to buy

ill try lower graphics settings.

try wrapping your card in bacon. the grease realy let my card fly, and if your card frys insted, then at least you have bacon.
