Hi i installed the latest version on Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit and whenever i open the game it stays open for 2 seconds then minimizes  >:( then i can get it to work but it's a pain and it's a clean install+all updates so if you could help me that would be great thnx, i've tried all and it does the same result.

i've had this issue on my notebook running windows 7 x64... it only occured when the machine had been running for more than a day.. in any case you should probably try to update your GPU-Driver to the latest version, that worked for me.. Allthough i have a ATI card maybe its just a bug

i have an nvidia card(geforce 9500GT 1GB)and i run the default display drivers in 7 32bit and i have no problems except with fleetops and armada 2 they both do the same, also why would you use 3rd party drivers if windows 7 is running good the way it is?

Update the driver.... maybe you got a faulty one that is missing a line of code saying "We will let Fleet Operations use this card."

No i dont really know why it does it (ive encountered it too) but i think like neuix said if you restart it it goes away.

i also have 2 other games that will mess up Aero(can't turn it back on unless a restart)and the only way to get them to behave is to disable desktop composition which sounds like a driver update is probably needed.
(Final update) i found the app responsible and Firefox was the app that was causing the game to minimize(it's not my main browser)if anyone has any fixes or idea why firefox is causing this could you tell us.
