Hi and welcome to the forums ![Smiley :)](/forum/images/smilies/smile.png)
Could you please explain your installation steps?
They should be as follows :
Run FO3.2.3. Install in your program files or on your desktop as usual. Run FO 3.2.6 and it should point to the 3.2.3 directory and overwrite the necessary files. The meda pack is of course optional.
When installing, having Armada II installed is not necessary, and Fleet Operations won't install correctly if it is installed directly in Armada II's data directory (you'll get a warning of that anyway if that occurs).
Could you check if your antivirus is quarantining any Fleet Ops files? Make sure to whitelist the executable![Smiley :)](/forum/images/smilies/smile.png)

good morning and thanks.
so i downloaded the file installed it and you are right, the patch updated itself into the right place. i also installed the media pack, again everything super easy and automatic.
but when i click on the exe file / shortcut from the start menu it won't open -__-
i tried reinstalling, even tried an older version that i found online. i mean i googled through all possible forum threads and.. nothing. no black screen freezing, no nothing. it seems like it's opening because my pc runs up for a second... but then nothing happens.
one thing i did different is install it in D: versus the original C: partition. only difference because D: is my game drive.
thanks already, ryan

Have you tried looking at your antivirus?
It is quite possible the executable or another file from Fleet Operations has been quarantined there.

Are you using a nocd program? It is possible you replaced the wrong file (the ldl file should be replaced).
It is difficult to say what the problem might be without an error report unfortunately.![Sad :(](/forum/images/smilies/sad.png)

In this case a DirectX log would be helpful
XP: click Start - Run type dxdiag click OK. Wait until the program is loaded, then, on the bottom of the window, click Save All Information... save the file and attach it to the forum please.
Vista/7: click the Start Button on the taskbar. In the search box type dxdiag. Press Enter key. Wait until the program is loaded, then, on the bottom of the window, click Save All Information... save the file and attach it to the forum please.
Use the file attachment feature of the forum, please don't post the file contents as text.

If the file won't attach, please send it in an email to either Doca or myself - our emails can be found on the Team page ![Smiley :)](/forum/images/smilies/smile.png)
