Twice now when loading a 2v2 team game the load process has frozen and taken more than 3 mins and iv had to end task and restart the game to get it to work.
2nd time loading its almost instant in getting into the game, this has never happened untill the current patch.

I don't have this problem. Did you do a clean install?
Also did you delete any config files that were left over from the previous patch?

Seemed to have solved the mystery if i play with my AV enabled it takes ages to laod if i disable it, the games loads instantly must be blocking its connection in some way.

It seems likely to me that your AV is probably trying to scan the files as it loads. ![Pinch :pinch:](/forum/images/smilies/pinch.png)

maybe your antivirus is set too strict.
most av come with the setting that they only scan file types that commonly have viruses, like exe/zip/doc etc and ignore stuff that is very unlikely to have a virus. maybe your's is turned up and scans every single file accessed.
if u tell your av to ignore the entire fleetops folder by adding the folder as an exception, it wont scan them. this will speed up the version checking for multiplayer too.
